Lady A's Hillary Scott Shares July 4th Memories


(Nashville, TN) -- Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott says her best Fourth of July memories all take place at the lake in East Tennessee where her family often celebrated the holiday. But the country star says a more recent event tops anything she did at the lake as a kid.


But Hillary says she still looks back on her childhood days at the lake fondly. The singer admits it was a lot of fun tubing, skiing, being on the boat, and just enjoying the summer out on the water.

Hillary won't be spending this Fourth of July at the lake. She won't even be in the country. Lady A is the opening night headliner at the three-day Cavendish Beach Music Festival in Prince Edward Island, Canada, which begins Friday.
