Lee Ann Womack, John Legend Paired For "CMT Crossroads"

(Nashville, TN) -- Lee Ann Womack is on board for the next installment of "CMT Crossroads." The country star is teaming up with R&B singer-songwriter John Legend for the show, which they'll tape in the Nashville suburb of Franklin, Tennessee. CMT's John Hamlin says he expects them to make "an incredible pairing," explaining that they're "both among the most respected singers in their genres." Womack and Legend's "CMT Crossroads" episode will debut on CMT on September 26th.

"CMT Crossroads" brings together country stars and artists from other genres to share stories and perform each other's songs to see where their musical paths intersect. And for their show Womack and Legend have plenty of material to choose from, including John's chart-topper "All of Me" and Lee Ann's signature hit "I Hope You Dance."
