Lucy Hale Uses Opry Debut For New Music Video

(Nashville, TN) -- Lucy Hale is ready with her second music video. The actress and country singer shot the clip for "Lie A Little Better" at the Grand Ole Opry House the day after she made her debut on the legendary show. She tells "CMT Hot 20 Countdown" that she wanted to follow her "narrative-driven" video for "You Sound Good to Me" with a clip that was "purely focused" on her and her band. Lucy describes it as a "behind-the-scenes look" at her Grand Ole Opry performance, showing her preparing for the show and just "hanging with the band." Hale adds that she was thrilled to be able to make the video at the Opry House, saying there was "no other place" she would have preferred to shoot it. Hale will be featured on this weekend's "Hot 20 Countdown," airing Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 a.m. Eastern.
