Luke Bryan Names His "Play It Again" Songs

(Nashville, TN) -- Luke Bryan says it's "tough" for him to name his "play it again" song, because "there have been a lot of them." The country star tells CMT when he was a kid "it was a lot of Lionel Richie stuff" like "All Night Long," which topped the chart when Luke was seven. Bryan adds that he could probably name ten songs from his college days that really grabbed him, but one of the biggest was Tim McGraw's "Where the Green Grass Grows." Luke recalls when he and his buddies were "at a field party or something," Tim's 1998 chart-topper definitely turned up "the vibe of the bonfire."

Bryan previously revealed that Lenny Kravitz's "Can't Get You Off My Mind" was also special to him in college, because it was his wife's "play it again" song back when they were dating. Luke recently celebrated the chart-topping success of his hit, "Play It Again," which is about a song that plays a role in a couple's budding romance.
