Luke Bryan Sets Country Concert Attendance Record In Boston


(Nashville, TN) -- Luke Bryan can really pack 'em in. The country star entertained more than 60-thousand fans at his show Sunday at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, and in the process set a new attendance record for a single-day country concert at the venue. Luke admits that when he started out he wasn't sure if his music would appeal to fans in northern cities.


Luke adds that he's now living his dream -- courtesy of those who came before him. The singer says he's grateful to stars like George Strait, Garth Brooks, and Kenny Chesney, who "kind of paved the way" and established "certain venues to take it to the next level."

Bryan's show Sunday also featured Lee Brice and Cole Swindell, who've been opening shows throughout Luke's "That's My Kind Of Night" trek, and special guest Dierks Bentley. Luke's next stadium show is this Friday at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field. Brice and Swindell are also on board along with special guest Brantley Gilbert.
