Miranda Lambert's Pink Pistol Ending Nashville Run
Jul. 24, 2014
(Nashville, TN) -- Miranda Lambert's boutique is leaving Music City. The temporary Nashville location for The Pink Pistol will be closing its doors on Sunday. But the store isn't heading out of town without giving something back. A post on The Pink Pistol Music City Facebook page says "in celebration of a great summer" in Nashville, they're "giving away" ten-percent of Thursday's, Friday's, and Saturday's sales totals to local charities. Proceeds from Thursday will go to Susan G. Komen of Nashville. Friday's donation is earmarked for the wildlife rehabilitation and education center Walden's Puddle. Saturday's funds will support Emmylou Harris' animal rescue group Bonaparte's Retreat.
Lambert launched the Nashville Pink Pistol outlet in early June, coinciding with the CMA Music Festival. The store was only intended to remain open for two months. The Pink Pistol has permanent locations in Tishomingo, Oklahoma and Lindale, Texas.
