Motley Crue Country Tribute Album Arrives Tuesday

(Undated)  --  Motley Crue's nod from the country music community arrives Tuesday.  "Nashville Outlaws: A Tribute To Motley Crue" features Rascal Flatts, LeAnn Rimes, and other country stars performing the rock band's music.  And Motley Crue's Vince Neil says the country versions really bring out the quality of the songs.  He tells Radio.com when the band performs their material "it's loud, it's fast, it's heavy," and the country arrangements have "stripped away all that stuff."  Vince explains that "the vocals come out," and "all of a sudden you're listening to a beautiful song."  He adds that the country covers enhance the lyrics, and "those words really make sense."  Neil admits hearing the album made him realize that while he's been singing these lyrics for years, he "didn't really listen to them before."

Neil joins country star Justin Moore on "Home Sweet Home," the lead-off single from "Nashville Outlaws."  Other tracks include Brantley Gilbert's cover of "Girls, Girls, Girls" and Florida Georgia Line's rendition of "If I Die Tomorrow."  Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich, and Cassadee Pope are some of the other country stars featured on the disc.
