Nettles, Bush Agree Sugarland OK, Disagree On Touring Together


(Undated) -- Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush continue trying to reassure fans that the duo is still intact, despite their concurrent solo projects. But the two country stars aren't quite in alignment regarding their attitudes toward their independent work. When Hartford, Connecticut's Country 92-5 separately asked each of them about promoting their solo albums with a collaborative tour, Kristian enthusiastically embraced the suggestion, saying "nothing's impossible" and they "could certainly do that."

Bush apparently didn't know Jennifer's not on board with the idea. She said teaming up with Kristian for a tour would "undercut what the whole intention of doing separate projects is." She explained that their solo work had to remain independent, so when the reunite as Sugarland "it is fresh." Nettles has spent this year promoting her solo album, "That Girl," which arrived back in January. Bush has released several solo singles, but hasn't yet announced a release date for his album.
