Parmalee Denied Opportunity To "Slip 'N Slide" In Video

(Undated) -- There's a reason the guys in Parmalee aren't taking their turns on the giant "Slip 'N Slide" in their video for "Close Your Eyes," but it's not clear just what it is. Bassist Barry Knox tells "Country Weekly" he and his bandmates tried to get in on the fun but weren't allowed, because it would have messed up their makeup. Frontman Matt Thomas says he doesn't think it would have been all that fun, because "it was cold" and "that was a long waterslide." Guitarist Josh McSwain also admits the length of the slide was a bit intimidating. He says it "goes on and on" with curves and turns and banks that are "crazy." "Close Your Eyes" is the third single from Parmalee's breakthrough album, "Feels Like Carolina."
