Police: Josh Gracin Is "Safe"

(Spring Hill, TN) -- Josh Gracin is "safe." That's the word from police in Spring Hill, Tennessee, who were called Thursday afternoon to check on the former "American Idol" finalist after what appeared to be a suicide note was posted on his Facebook page. Gracin wasn't home when officers arrived, but when they reached him by phone he agreed to come back. TMZ.com says police "intercepted" Josh as he was returning home, but will only reveal that "he's safe."

Gracin's message references problems he's having in his marriage, and implies that he's given up on life. He writes that he'd like to be remembered as "someone who gave his all in his music," as asks readers to pray for his family as they "carry on in this world without" him. The ex-Marine and wife Ann Marie were married in 2001, and have four children together.
