Randy Travis Looking "Healthy," "Driven" In His Recovery

(Tioga, TX) -- Randy Travis continues to make progress in his stroke recovery. The country star's partner in his Tioga, Texas restaurant says the singer is "looking pretty healthy." Clark's Outpost BBQ co-owner James Hilliard tells Dallas-Fort Worth's NBC 5 Travis made a stop at the restaurant earlier this month, and was "up and mobile" and "walking pretty much on his own." Hilliard admits that Randy "still has a little trouble with some of his words," but he's "leaps and bounds" from where he was six months ago. He adds that Travis is "driven," and if anybody can make a comeback from such a health setback, "it's somebody" like Randy.

Travis recently released the video to the song "Don't Worry 'Bout Me," from his upcoming album "Influences Vol. 2: The Man I Am." The disc, featuring covers of songs originally done by stars who inspired him, will be available on August 19th.
