Willie Nelson's New Album Arrives Tuesday


(Undated) -- Willie Nelson's new album is being celebrated as his return to original material. For "Band Of Brothers" Nelson penned eight tracks, his largest contribution to an album in a decade. But Willie is downplaying the fact, and tells Billboard.com he doesn't keep track of such things. The country legend says for him songwriting is something that can't be forced, but can't be avoided either. He explains that when it comes to writing "some days you feel like doing it, some days you don't." Willie says his process typically involves getting an idea he just has to write about. He adds that "the ones you have to write are usually the ones that become the best songs." In addition to Nelson's own material, "Band Of Brothers" features contributions from Vince Gill, Billy Joe Shaver, Bill Anderson, and others. "Band Of Brothers" is in stores Tuesday.
