Zac Brown Band Hoping To Revive Nashville Festival

(Nashville, TN) -- Zac Brown says his band hasn't abandoned the Nashville edition of their annual Southern Ground Music and Food Festival. The country star explains that it's something they can't do at the moment, because they've lost their location.

Zac Brown Band launched their Southern Ground festival in Charleston, South Carolina in 2011, and for the past two years they've hosted an event in Nashville as well. The group's fourth annual Charleston festival is coming up on October 11th and 12th.

Zac Brown says the group really enjoys the festival. He explains that it allows him to indulge his passion for cooking while helping to "break down barriers" between the group and their fans. Brown says he and his bandmates are "pretty down to Earth people," and the festival enables them to connect with their audience in a unique and fun way.
