Country 97.1 HANK FM and First Option Mortgage are proud to once again be partnering with Habitat for Humanity in building a home for another deserving Indianapolis family! And once again this year we'll be constructing the 2013 Habitat for Humanity Ag House in just 14 DAYS at the Indiana State Fair!
Leading Indiana agricultural business and agricultural related organizations are joining forces with Habitat, the Indiana State Fair, and Country 97.1 HANK FM to build this house in just 14 days during the Indiana State Fair this August! This will be no small feat, and the house will be open to the public daily during the fair!
Following the fair, the completed house will be moved to a residential location in a nearby neighborhood.

||Joseph Olumullah grew up caring for his family's live stock in Kenya, Africa. He spent his early years living in poverty and has overcome many difficulties. While discussing his path to homeownership, Joseph says, "Growing up partially in the streets of Nairobi and rural western Kenya, I often dreamed about owning my own home." Joseph goes on to say, "Today is a milestone in my life and (will be) a great pleasure indeed to call myself a homeowner! My son, Jayden, will have his own room and a place to play after school."
Agriculture: Growing Food, Building Family Dreams
The Habitat for Humanity Ag House is special in many ways, not only are we building it in just 15 days at the Indiana State Fair, but it is also accompanied with an important message from the Indiana agriculture community! These businesses and orgnizations have come together to educate the public about the importance of their industry, and all of the things that agriculture brings to the state of Indiana! Without their support, building this house would be impossible! Many thanks to each of them for their contributions and making this dream a reality for Joseph Olumullah and his son, Jayden!
