Meet Texas Roadhouse’s Artist of the Month, Riley Green!
Originally from Alabama, Riley Green found his passion for country music was passed down by his grandfather. “My Granddaddy Buford taught me a love for the sound of old traditional country, bluegrass, and southern gospel music,” explains Riley.
When he isn’t on stage with a guitar in his hands, you can usually find him outdoors with a fishing pole, hunting, or playing sports. Riley Green is the Season 5 winner of Redneck Island and hosts a hunting show on Dirt Road TV called Halo Country!
“The best way I can describe myself is just going to be kind of things that I enjoy and how I like to spend my time. You know, it comes out in my songs. It’s pretty easy to tell what kind of guy I am because that’s the kind of songs I write and I sing and that’s the kind of people who are at my shows. I’m a big hunter. I enjoy working outside. I always enjoyed framing houses. It’s lot more fun now that I don’t have to do it. When I get off the road, first place I go is my parents’ house. I really enjoy time with my family. Those are the people that I like to fill in on what’s going on and check in and see what’s going on with them. I always enjoyed sports. I still like watching sports. Love music. Only thing I don’t like about playing as many shows as I do is that I don’t get to go watch some.”
