According to a new survey, 87% of couples use these when talking to their partner and those couples tend to be much happier than couples who don't use them.

 

Nicknames or pet names 

 

Calling your partner by a nickname or pet name can lead to a happier union according to researchers. My wife and I are both from Virginia so we tend to use “Hon” a lot with each other. We also have nicknames that we use when addressing birthday or anniversary cards to each other. We have friends who lovingly call each other by crude nicknames and they both love it. Do you use nicknames or pet names with your partner?
