According to a new study, in areas where grocery stores are allowed to sell this, visits to the local emergency room are 6% higher.
The study found that there are 6% more emergency room visits in communities where grocery stores are allowed to sell alcohol. The study also found that alcohol related visits to the emergency room immediately shot up almost 18% in areas when alcohol sales were first allowed in grocery stores. How coincidental! I’m sure there’s no connection. Have you ever had to visit the emergency room because of alcohol?
