Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Academy of Country Music Awards set for Sunday, April 5, had to be postponed until Wednesday, September 16 at 8p.m. ET on CBS. In the award’s place, the ACM’s put together the ACM Presents: Our Country special to air during  the original April 5th ACM slot. The special featured acoustic performances from artists’ homes, classic ACM flashbacks, and uplifting messages and music from the country music family. The ACM Awards will now be held on Wednesday, September 16 at 8p.m. ET on CBS. For the first time ever, reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year Keith Urban will host the awards. Also for the first time ever, the awards will be held in Nashville, Tennessee rather than in their recent home in Las Vegas. The awards will be spread over three iconic Nashville music venues, the Grand Ole Opry, the Ryman Auditorium and the Bluebird Cafe. Stay tuned for additional details about performers and more.
