Meet Texas Roadhouse’s Artist of the Month, Everette!

Up-and-coming country duo Everette stopped by our Texas Roadhouse Back Porch to show us first hand their musical chemistry and friendship Born and raised in Kentucky, Brent Rupard and Anthony Olympia went to high school just 8 miles apart – not knowing that at age 21 they would connect and commandeer their own version of country music.  Their sound is seeping with swampy harmonicas and bluesy guitar riffs giving 80’s and 90’s country music fans a wave of nostalgia, while commanding the attention of Nashville’s new country scene.

The duo’s bluesy on point harmonies pay plenty of tribute to their namesake, George Clooney’s iconic role in O Brother, Where Art Though?

Their song “Slow Roll” clearly showcases their songwriting chops and has plenty of toe-tapping beats – as well as a nod to pop culture film, Dazed and Confused. Very groovy, to say the least.

“Constant Sorrow” and “Relapse” are strung out tales of struggles and reality that balance out other tunes like “Break It To Me” and “Slow Roll”.

They’re also known for some killer covers—see their take on Elton John’s “Rocket Man” here!
